"Promises"Written By: Shinigami 195 Disclaimer: I’m a poor student, with no money,
I don’t even have a job right now and I have no claim to the
characters of Gundam Wing. Warnings: Mild shonen-ai Pairings: 1+2 Summary: Relena and Heero say farewell. Notes: I hate my muses, they have horrible timing!!!
This idea came to me at midnight last night, I wrote the original
version while laying in bed with no lights on. I had an exam the next
day and I complete forgot about this ficlet. Three months later, I
found this under a pile of revision notes and I finally wrote a neat
version. Promises Her knock on the door was gentle and if it wasn’t
for his enhanced hearing he wouldn’t of heard her. He finished
packing his clothes into the duffle bag before turning to the doorway. “Yes?” She moved forward into the room. “I came to say goodbye, before you left.” He gave a nod. “Your new bodyguard has arrived.”
He explained. “I’ve just met him, he’s kinda cute.”
She commented. “I couldn’t really say, I don’t know
him and I don’t judge on looks.” She stopped walking as she reached his side, her eyes
going to the only thing left on the desk. She picked up the picture
and studied it. “He’s quite a looker. How can you say you
don’t judge on looks when you have him. He’s the most beautiful
person I know.” She said, “Sweet face, nice body, soul searing
eyes…” She was cut off by him snatching the frame out of her
hands and placing it on top of the clothes in his duffel bag and he
zipper it up quickly. “Are you off to L2?” She asked. “I made a promise never to hurt anyone ever again.
I’m keeping that promise and the promise that I made a long time
ago.” During his speech, his hand moved to the silver chain and
cross that was hanging round his neck. “I must return this.”
He picked up his bag and bowed to her. She said nothing as he walked towards the door. “Goodbye Relena.” He had just stepped into the corridor when she spoke. “Make me another promise.” He turned his head to look over his shoulder at her,
she still had her back to him. “You two are meant to be together. Promise me you
wont let him go? Promise me that you and him will stay together forever?” He didn’t reply but as she turned to face him, he gave a small nod and that was good enough for her. ~Owari~ AN/ Short and sweet. You like? ~Shinigami195~ 13/08/03 |
